Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has urged Trans-Nzoia Governor George Natembeya to continue saying the truth on behalf of the people of Kenya.
Through a statement on social media, the former DP noted that the recent response from allies of the President was just a way of pleasing their master.
“Please do not let the Court Poets & Masters of platitude distract you from the work you are doing of delivering to the people of Trans-Nzoia County. These Court Jesters are on the misguided assignment of providing comic relief to their master.

And do not be cowed from speaking out on behalf of the people of Kenya when it’s necessary. The rants and tirade being thrown at you are a clear testimony that you are making an impact as you speak truth to power.
My prayer is that you will continue to do so, and to unite your people and protect their dignity and political pride. This unity, I assure you, will ensure that your people’s interests are always front and centre of the focus of any administration.” he said
Gachagua was speaking about a recent event where the Governor called on the President to end the abductions in the country as it is not the way to handle things.
Taking on stage after him was MP Kimani Ichungwa who questioned his previous position as the regional commander where hundred of dead bodies were discovered in river Yala. According to KImani, Natembeya should be ashamed of his utterances.
