Deputy President William Ruto has warned President William Ruto against politics of betrayal saying that it will not sit well with many Kenyans.
Speaking on Sunday during a Church service, DP Gachagua reminded the President that any form of betray will not be welcomed by people from Mt. Kenya who are the reason he is in office today.
He continued by giving an example of how former President Uhuru Kenyatta lost ground in his region after backing up Raila Odinga instead of his Deputy President.

“Ruto is a beneficiary of Mt. Kenya’s disdain for betrayal. Our people hate it and are unforgiving.” he said
“When there was an attempt to betray him, our people stood firm, They supported him to show their displeasure with betrayal.” he said
According to Gachagua, he has only one plea to the President to keep his word that he will protect his deputy failure to which will prove that he cannot keep his promise.
“He promised that his deputy would not be humiliated. If he doesn’t keep that promise, nobody will ever trust him to keep any promise.” he said
The news follows a planned impeachment of the Deputy President as confirmed by those close to the President following his alleged fallout with the President.
Those allied to DP Gachagua have warned President William Ruto against taking that path as it will lead to his ouster come 2027.
