Four people are reported injured after a gas cylinder exploded inside a hotel in Nairobi’s South B on Saturday.
The afternoon incident at Frizzle Bites Restaurant occurred as the workers were busy preparing food causing the injuries.

A part of the hotel was also damaged during the incident as revelers present were forced to run for their dear lives.
Those injured are reported to be in a stable condition and recuperating at a hospital as anti-terror police were called in to respond to the blast.
Speaking after the incident was Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei who said the incident was just a gas cylinder explosion and nothing more.
“The workers have also confirmed it was a gas cylinder explosion. No need to panic,” he said
