Nairobi County Chief officer on matters environment Geoffrey Mosiria encounters an accident at Nyayo Stadium Roundabout involving a staff van.
The Friday incident saw Geoffrey call an ambulance to assist the affected but unfortunately a young mother lost her life when she was about to receive first aid.

“Last Friday during my routine night surveillance on noise pollution, I encountered a tragic accident at Nyayo Stadium Roundabout involving a staff van transporting employees home.
Upon arrival, I immediately responded by calling ambulances, which arrived swiftly and took the injured to the hospital. Sadly, a young mother lost her life while about to get first aid after the devastating crash.” he said
An eyewitness revealed that three Volkswagen cars were recklessly competing when one of them lost control and hit the van.
“An immediate eyewitness at the scene narrated that three Volkswagen cars were recklessly competing when the front one lost control and crashed into the van.
One life was cut short, and others were injured in an instant due to reckless driving. This tragedy is a painful reminder of the dangers of irresponsible driving. I urge all motorists to be extra cautious, observe speed limits, and respect other road users.
