Trade and Industry CS Moses Kuria has called out Mt. Kenya region over their record to impeach their governors.
Taking on social media, Kuria noted that Kiambu made history becoming the first county last term to successfully impeach their Governor.
He continued by taking note of the drama unfolding in Meru County where MCA’s have planned to impeach their Governor Kawira Mwangaza. Kuria called out the growing trend of leaders from Mt. Kenya being impeached as he urged the trend to be allowed in other counties.

“In the last tern, Kiambu County from Mt Kenya region made history by becoming the first county to successfully impeach a Governor. In this term Meru County In Mt Kenya region is determined to become the first County to successfully impeach the Governor.
Unless impeachment has something to do with the soils, altitude or climatic conditions, it is necessary for Mt Kenya region to give other regions an opportunity to impeach their Governors in the spirit of inclusivity, diversity and national cohesion. My two Cents,” said CS Moses Kuria.
The statement by the CS tends to bring an end the bad image being portrayed by the region if such motions are allowed to sail through.
