The government through Education PS Dr. Belio Kipsang has ordered all parents/guardians to pay for their children’s school fees via the eCitizen platform.
Through a letter dated 31st January 2023, the PS called on all school principals to align themselves with the government requirement that all payments should be directed to the eCitizen platform.

“As part of compliance with the requirement it is directed that parents/guardians make fee payment for their learners in your institution through this platform.” read the letter in parts.
As the system is set to be launched, the principals have been requested to provide all their bank details including the bank name, bank code and branch code.
“Please ensure that the aforementioned information is submitted to the office of the Director General, State Department for Basic Education not later than February 6th, 2024.” read the notice.
