Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management CS Moses Kuria has confirmed that Kenyans will soon have to pay a fee to access services at Huduma Centres.
The CS was speaking during a handover ceremony from CS Aisha Jumwa where he noted that the fee will assists the centres generate their own revenue and ease pressure on the excheque as it has been the case.
“For so long you have been enjoying these services without paying. Now there is no more free lunch, you have to pay for it. We will introduce a fee for government service to support our e-commerce because Huduma Centre will be the backbone for e-commerce,” said the CS

Kuria also noted that delivery and performance of civil servants has been dear to his heart and that he will reengineer deliverance of government services to the people.
“Delivery and performance of civil servants has been dear to my heart,and am here to reengineer deliverance of Govt services to the people of this country as H.E.President William Ruto desires .
I am grateful to the team that has been working in this office,led by PS Gathecha, PS Veronica Nduva, PS Anne wangombe and Public service commission, where I intend to work closely with all of them and make things work even better for the good of all of us.” he said
