Governor Abdulswamad Sheriff Nasir has on Saturday welcomed a cruise ship carrying 2,500 passengers at the port of Mombasa.
The passengers who are of different nationalities are expected to explore various parks and local experiences.
“In quick succession to last month’s visit by cruise ship Norwegian Dawn, I today led the welcome for luxury cruise liner MSC Poesia from the Mediterranean Shipping Company docked at the Port of Mombasa today.

MSC Poesia was carrying 2500 passengers from different nationalities and 1000 crew members of which 20 were Kenyans. Out of the visiting tourists, 200 came inland to explore various parks and local experiences.
