Murang’a Governor Irungu Kang’ata has been ranked the best performing Governor by InfoTrak with his county taking the lead also.
In the latest County Index released by InfoTrak, Murang’a took the lead with 52 percent followed by Homa Bay with 51 percent and in third place was Trans Nzoia and Kirinyaga with a 48 percent score.

Kisii, Nyeri and Kisumu Counties came fifth with 47 percent followed by Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Bungoma, Kiambu and Lamu who came in eighth position with 46 percent.
In terms of Governors ranking, Kang’ata took the lead with 68 percent followed by George Natembeya and Gladys Wanga with 64 and 61 percent respectively.
Anyang’ Nyong’o, Mutula Kilonzo, Wisley Rotich, Simba Arati, Gideon Mungaro, Mutahi Kahiga and Kimani Wamatangi made it in the top ten best governors with 59,57,55,54 and 53 percent respectively.
