Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has threatened legal action against those claiming that he smuggled millions of taxpayers money to the UK.
Through a statement, the Governor noted that the allegations are part of a smear campaign sponsored by her political detractors.
She continued by saying that the statement does not distract her to better the lives of the people of Machakos as her administration sets to close on nearly 1000 projects from August 2022.

According to Governor Wavinya Ndeti, she will pursue and charge those peddling baseless rumours that amount to defamation and misuse of electronic media to spread falsehood.
Wavinya further noted that the allegation has created a perception about her and her family members endangering their lives.
“Let the authors of this narrative be warned that should anything happen to any member of my family or myself, you shall be held responsible.
Lastly, I encourage those spewing these fabrication to arm themselves with hard evidence when the law comes knocking.” she said
