President William Ruto has on Sunday revealed that the government will construct a dual carriageway that will connect Nairobi and Nakuru.
The dual carriageway which is meant to deal with huge traffic snarl-up at the busy highway, will also be extended to Malaba as revealed by the Head of State.
The news comes barely a day after a huge traffic caused motorist and travelers plying the highway get stranded and the situation worsened after some of the drivers overlapped.

At the same stage, the President called on critics of the livestock vaccination programme not to politicize the issue claiming that it will prevent diseases like foot and mouth.
“The vaccine is manufactured locally at Kabete, one of the largest vaccine facilities in Africa, and is also exported to other countries,” he said
President William Ruto defended his move to bring in leaders allied to the opposition saying that it is now a broad based government meant to bring in development and not division in the country.
