Palestinian militia group Hamas has issued a statement condoling the death of Iran President Ebrahim Raisi through a helicopter crash.
President Raisi’s death was confirmed by Iran state media on Sunday following his maiden trip to Tabriz after returning from the border with Azerbaijan where he was in the company of the country’s foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.

“We express our shared feelings of grief and sorrow with the brotherly Iranian people and our full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in this painful incident,” said Hamas
The militia group also praised the President for backing their course and the struggle for the people of Palestine.
