The high Court has removed the name of former Education CS Prof. George Magoha from the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) case before it.
The application was allowed after lawyer Nelson Havi who is challenging the new curriculum requested the court to remove his name.

In the case, the former CS who had been listed as the 8th respondent had been represented by then his two lawyers Phiilip Murgor and George Ouma who had already made their submissions before the court.
According to Nelson Havi, the CBC curriculum is unconstitutional and that it was introduced without proper preparation.
He continued by saying that it teachers in the country were not prepared for it and the pupil’s future was at risk due to it.
At the same time, the Attorney General has been requested to appear before the court on February 15th and present the CBC taskforce report that will give the proper direction into the matter.
