Statehouse spokesperson Hussein Mohamed has denied claim by Morara Kebaso that President William Ruto called him.
Speaking during an interview at Citizen TV, Hussein Mohamed noted that the claim is beyond Morara’s imagination as he works for the President.
“I am shocked at what Morara is saying. I wonder why he would lie on national TV that the President called him. For the record, such a call never happened, it’s a statement of his imagination.
- Former Samburu Governor Lenolkulal found guilty in Ksh83M graft case
- We did not send Kenyan police to Haiti, says Meg Whitman
No such thing happened, let him substantiate it. Morara and any other Kenyan can hold the government accountable but do it truthfully. The President did not call him, I work for the President.” he said
Responding to Hussein’s statement, Morara noted that he is not like other leaders who record things to prove a point but both the President and government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura know it happened.
“I am not going to follow the footsteps of those leaders who used to record the president or put him on loud speaker to prove a point. I don’t think it’s good manners. For that reason i will not focus on proving whether or not it happened. Isaac Mwaura knows it happened. William Ruto knows it happened.
of story. Let’s focus on kutengua mahali ametenga. The call is not of any importance in the fight for good governance and end of corruption. Let’s not divert the conversation. The nation knows who the liar is between me and Dr. William Ruto.” said Morara.
Morara is making headlines for exposing the President and the projects that he initiated that have either stalled or never kicked off in the first place.
