President William Ruto has on Monday evening affirmed that he is a person who believe in giving people a second chance.
He was speaking in reference to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and former CS Justin Muturi who have all fallen out with their former boss.
“I am a person who believes in giving people a second chance. Even though many leaders did not favour my friend Gachagua, I still gave him a chance. I am a strong believer that when you are friends, you don’t just dismiss friends.

It applies to JB Muturi, even when it was difficult for him to perform as AG, but because he was my friend, we worked together, we campaigned together, I was willing to give him a second chance.
I gave Justin a second chance, but in the process, he dismissed himself. What did you expect me to do? JB Muturi has a very good pension, hawezi kuumia sana ati ataenda kuhangaika, ako na pension anaweza kusonga mbele.” he said
The Head of State who was speaking during a media engagement noted that former CS Justin Muturi informed him that he was not good on matters law as he has been out of practice for long.
He continued by revealing that he decided to take him to the public service docket but all of a sudden he stopped attending cabinet meetings forcing him to fire him.
Makosa pengine ni yangu, I persuaded him, fanya tu hii kazi.
What am I supposed to do?” said President Ruto
