The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued a warrant of arrest against Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyau, former defence minister and Hamas Military commander.
Through a statement, the ICC pre-trial chamber rejected a challenge by Israel over its jurisdiction and went ahead to issue the warrant of arrest against Netanyau and Yoav Gallant.
The chamber also issued a warrant of arrest against Mohammed Deif, who is reported to have died during air strikes in Gaza back in July 2024.
