Italy’s National Anti-Doping tribunal suspends Paul Pogba

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been suspended barely hours after testing positive for substance abuse.

“Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has now been provisionally suspended for anti-doping offense.

Decision has been officially confirmed by Italy’s National Anti-Doping tribunal statement.” said Fabrizio Romano

Pogba who was on the bench on August 20th when Juventus faced Udinese and won 3-0, was randomly selected to undergo testing.

The results revealed above normal abuse of testosterone with a second test to confirm the finding set to be done soon before an inquiry into the finding is conducted.

Pogba re-joined Juventus from Manchester United in July 2022 but his return has been hindered by injuries that sidelined him in the France national team squad on international duties.
