Dennis Itumbi has on Monday launched a website meant to collect as manu signatures to stop pension benefits of former President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka.
The website dubbed babatumechoka.com is a complete replica of Azimio’s tumechoka.com meant to collect enough signatures to kick out both President William Ruto and his deputy from power.
The website launched by Itumbu indicates that the reason behind the move is due to the trio’s engagement in destructive politics, incitement and violence.
“Having read and understood the intention of the promoters of this initiative, I hereby support the Citizens’ Initiative to stop the pension benefits of Mr Uhuru Kenyatta, Mr Raila Odinga and Mr Kalonzo Musyoka, as per law established, for their continued engagement in destructive politics, incitement and violence,” reads the website.
A political showdown is expected on Wednesday between Kenya Kwanza government and Azimio la Umoja after bipartisan talks collapsed last month.
