Former TV queen Jacque Maribe has been acquitted in the murder of businesswoman Monica Maribe.
Issuing the verdict was High Court judge Grace Nzioka who agreed to Maribe’s submission that she was not aware of the murder, she was not the last person to be seen with the 1st accused Joseph ‘Jowie’ Irungu and neither was she placed at the scene of murder.
Maribe and Jowie were however found to have lied when they said the shooting of Jowie happened outside the house when it indeed occurred inside the house as revealed during investigations.
