The grassland area inside Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), along Airport North Road, Nairobi County is currently on fire.
Confirming the news was Kenya Red Cross who noted that they are battling the inferno and efforts are underway to contain it.
“Emergency response teams are on-site battling a grassland fire inside JKIA, along Airport North Road, Nairobi County.
Efforts are underway to contain the blaze and prevent further spread.” said Kenya Red Cross
