South African opposition leader Julius Malema has lauded Gen Z of Kenya for their courage and push for better governance through the anti-government protests.
Malema who is the party leader of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) also called out President William Ruto warning him that he was losing his grip on power.
Through a statement, he also called on South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa to take notes from Kenya and engage the young voices in the country.

“This dismissive attitude mirrors the arrogance of Ruto, who is rapidly losing his grip on power due to his disregard for the youth. Ramaphosa (South African president Cyril Ramaphosa) should take a hard lesson from this and recognise the urgent need to engage with the voices of the younger generation,” he said
Malema also called out the government for entering into dialogue with the opposition party saying that will not solve core issues even though it comes at a time when a section of Kenyans are calling for the resignation of President William Ruto.
“The EFF urges the youth of Kenya to stay strong in their fight for economic justice. Their bravery and determination serve as a beacon of hope and a call to action for all the oppressed people,” read the statement
The statement comes at a time when the young generation has called out the government over a number of misdoings including constant failure to implement its promises, failure to deal with corruption and the high taxes imposed to Kenyans.
