The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has fronted National Assembly Minority Leader Junet Mohamed as the replacement of Kithure Kindiki in the interior docket.
Revealing the news was Nyaribari Chache MP Daniel Manduku who said that as a party they will back Junet as the next Interior CS but its the President William Ruto who has the final say.

The MP was speaking during an interview at K24 when quized if ODM party has a candidate in place for the Ministry since they are lobbying for more positions in the current government.
“Yes, we have fronted a name, Junet Mohamed. We have just fronted the name, but it is up to the president to decide,” he said
Manduku continued by suggesting that Prof. Kithure Kindiki might have sent his resignation to President William Ruto following his nomination as the next Deputy President.
“The position is vacant, resignation is a private affair, he probably wrote a resignation to the president. The resignation doesn’t have to be made public,” he said
The news follows allegations that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is set to win again in the government with additional slots coming soon.
