Wanjeri wa Kariuki, a K24 journalist was on Tuesday shot while covering the anti-government protests in Nakuru.
Wanjeri who was standing outside a local bank was shot in the thigh despite being branded as a journalist as seen in videos and pictures of her lying down calling for help.
She was however whisked off by fellow journalist to Valley hospital where she currently receiving treatment.
