Arsenal striker Kai Havertz is set to miss the remaining season after sustaining a hamstring injury during the club’s training in Dubai.

Its still unclear whether the 25-year-old German will undergo surgery but the main focus as it stands is for him to get fit for the coming season.

The news comes at a time when Gabriel Martinelli also suffered hamstring injury during Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat against Newcastle and will remain sidelined for more than a month.
Other key players who remain sidelined include Bukayo Saka, Ben White and Tomiyasu who are yet to regain full fitness.
