Vice President Kamala Harris has on Monday certified the election of Donald Trump in the just concluded 2024 elections.
Taking on social media, Kamala noted that the duty is sacred one that she will uphold guithe ded by the love she has for he country.
“Today, I will perform my constitutional duty as Vice President to certify the results of the 2024 election. This duty is a sacred obligation — one I will uphold guided by love of country, loyalty to our Constitution, and unwavering faith in the American people.” she said

At the Senate, the Vice President announced the Donald Trump bagged 312 electoral votes against 226 votes won by the Democrats.
The Monday highlights marked the return of the Ministerial work that had long been a forgeten thing until when Donald Trump challenged his election against Joe Biden.
Biden had promised that he would allow for a peaceful transition of power but called on citizen not to forget the scenes in 2021.
