Former KTN news anchor Ken Mijungu has parted way with Cape Media’s TV47 barely after joining them, an arrival that was hugely publicized.
The news follows a letter demanding resignation drawn by Ken Mijungu himself and received on 22nd February was received and accepted by the TV’s management.

In the letter dated 21st February 2025, Mijungu requested time off work so as to focus on his engagement with the company, something that led to TV47 to terminate his services.
”We acknowledge receipt of your email dated February 21, 2025, in which you requested time off to reflect on your engagement with the company,” read Mijungu’s letter in parts
”Having considered the matter, Management has taken the decision to revoke the Service Agreement dated January 31, 2025. This decision takes effect from February 22, 2025.” said TV47
Cape Media CEO Makandi wished the former KTN news anchor all the best in his future endeavors and possibility to work again if he reconsiders his decision.
