Kenya Airways has temporarily suspended flights to Comoros and Mayotte following government alert on Tropical Cyclone CHIDO expected to affect the two islands.
Through a statement, KQ revealed that the cyclone is expected to last until Monday 16th December 2024 but until then the safety of passengers and staff remains a priority.

“We sincerely apologize to our customers for the inconveniences this may cause. The safety of our customers and that of our staff is our number one priority.” said Kenya Airways.
KQ continued by promising to resume its flights on Monday once the weather conditions have improved significantly. Affected customers have been advised to reach to their customer service to reschedule their flights.
