President William Ruto has confirmed that the country will lift visa requirement for all African countries by 31st December 2023.
The move which is meant to boost trade in the trade was revealed during the ongoing Three Basins Summit in Congo where he said the visa requirement for African countries was unncessary.
He continued by saying that East African countries have already abolished the requirements thus the increase in trade between the countries.
“It is time we realize the importance of trading amongst ourselves and allowing goods, services, people and ideas to move freely across the continent.” said the President.
