President William Ruto has on Sunday called on Kenyans to ignore naysayers and that the country is heading in the right direction economically.
Speaking from Dagoretti, Nairobi, the Head of State noted that it is the prayers of many that the country fails but Kenya will not head that path.
He continued by reminding those present that many did not believe him that he will stabilize food prices, something that he has managed to do.

“There are enemies of our country who wish us bad, but I want to tell you that Kenya will not fall. Kenya is strong and will develop. We are going to go places, and it is evident God has put our country on recovery.
Not many believed we would reduce food prices; not many believed we would do affordable housing, but we are doing it,” he said
According to the President, Kenya should ignore those criticizing the government as they do not have any plan to develop it insisting that matters development is a collective issue.
“We are making steady steps in the transformation of our nation. Forget the naysayers; Kenya is going to march forward steadily. Forget those who don’t see that we have an opportunity to change our country. This is not about anyone; it is not about me or the next leader of Kenya.” said President William Ruto.
Once again he said that his election was God’s calling to lead the country towards the right path.
