A Kenyan athlete and marathoner has been attacked by attacked by a dog on Sunday in Argentina in the middle of the marathon.
The news was confirmed by Senator Kiprotich Arap Cherargei who called out on Sports CS Ababu Namwamba and the entire Athletics Kenya for doing nothing about it.
He also confirmed that the athlete identified as Robert kimutai Ngeno managed to finish the marathon and secure a third place finish.
“Marathoner Robert kimutai Ngeno was attacked by a dog in Argentina during marathon event last Sunday where he secured third position.
UNFORTUNATELY the incompetent CS Ababu of sports and lethargic Athletics kenya has NOT found it wise to protest and call for investigations by Argentina authorities!. The athlete was robbed of his dignity and subjected to untold ridicule.” said the CS
