One person has been stabilized after inhaling smoke and 19 households affected in the Monday inferno at a residential area in Kericho.
Confirming the news was Kenya Red Cross who said that the contained the fire thanks to the County Fire Brigade and support from the Kenya police and community members.

“A fire has broken out at a residential area near National Bank in Kericho County. Efforts to contain it are currently underway.
The fire has been contained by the County Fire Brigade with support from the Kenya Red Cross, Kenya Police and community members.
One person was stabilized on-site for smoke inhalation and 19 households were affected. The Kenya Red Cross will assess needs for possible support today.” said Kenya Red Cross
