Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has revealed how shocked after the club failed to give him a new contract offer.
The decision which he said was done for a whole year, left him feeling a little bit surprised but just had to accept it knowing very well that as a club, they have to make decisions.

“There was a little bit of shock as I didn’t have any offer from Man City the whole year” he said
“Obviously I was a bit surprised but have to accept it” he continued
“I still think I can perform at this level but I understand clubs have to make decisions” said De Bruyne
The news comes at a time when the Belgium player revealed that he was leaving Manchester City at the end of the season.
MLS side Chicago Fire has already stepped up their interest in signing the Manchester City player on free transfer. They are currently locked at convincing him with a new project at the club.
