Kilifi County Chief Officer for Blue Economy, Rahab Karisa, has been stabbed to death by her house help at her home in Mnarani, Kilifi County.
Confirming the incident was Kilifi County Police Commander Fatuma Hadi who noted that investigations into the incident are ongoing.
News from family members revealed that Rahab Karisa had just returned home from Italy when the incident occurred.

The house help quickly fled the scene after committing the crime as he lifeless body was found lying in a pool of blood.
The body has since been moved to Kilifi Hospital Mortuary as the motive of the incident is yet to be known.
An autopsy is expected to be conducted so as to establish the cause of death.
