National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has confirmed calling Wiper Leader Kalonzo to set a date for talks between Kenya Kwanza and Azimio.
Speaking from Nyeri County during President William Ruto’s tour of Mt. Kenya, Ichung’wah revealed that they agreed with Kalonzo that the talks will be held on Wednesday 9th August 2023 at the Bomas of Kenya from 11 am.
He continued by saying that they will approach the talks with an open mind and that they will not agree on matters that they have already said before.

“National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has confirmed calling Wiper Leader Kalonzo to set a date for talks between Kenya Kwanza and Azimio,” said the National Assembly Majority Leader.
Kenya Kwanza has been categorical that they will not accept talks on matters auditing the election results and power sharing agreements.
Azimio through former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has vowed to take another course of action in September if the planned talks fail to kick off.
Speaking from Nyamira County on Sunday, the ODM party leader said that they are interested on matters affecting Kenyans like high cost of living.
