Interior CS Kithure Kindiki has put on notice criminals posing as peaceful protestors and causing havoc to properties across the country.
Through a statement, the CS noted that security apparatus in the country are on high alert to deal with them so as not to cause destructions of crucial properties.
At the same time, Kindiki noted that investigations have also began and after thorough analysis, those behind it including the planners and financiers of the incident will be arrested.

“The organizers of today’s orgy of violence in parts of Nairobi, Mombasa and several other parts of the Country are reportedly planning to repeat their anarchic chaos and cruel plunder on Thursday and Sunday this week.
This reign of terror against the people of Kenya and the impunity of dangerous criminal gangs must end at whatever cost.” he said
Then Interior CS also commended police officers who are executing their mandate to prevent crimes and protect lives and properties.
“The Government commends all law enforcement officers who continue to discharge their challenging mandate of preventing crime and protecting the lives and property,” he said
The statement follows the day’s protests across the country with Gen Z protesters claiming that the whole thing has been filled with hired goons.
