Those arrested are set to be arraigned in court on Monday and face assault charges and malicious damage of property.
The incident which happened after an accident involving their fellow boda boda rider confirmed that the rider was on the wrong side of the road but the other motorists descended on the woman stoning her car.
Police officers could be seen struggling to keep them off much to the anger of Kenyans who condemned the incident.
“For too long, we have allowed Boda Boda riders to operate with impunity. Their mob violence on the lady motorist in Kitengela was primitive. The riders involved should be charged with terrorism under The Prevention of Terrorism Act. It is the only way to rein Boda Boda riders.” said Lawyer Donald Kipkorir
