KNEC releases the 2024 KPSEA reports

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has officially released the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports.

Through an update, KNEC noted that the reports have already been uploaded to the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBA) portal and schools are requested to log into the portal to access the learners reports.

“The 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) reports are ready and have been uploaded on the CBA portal, http://cba.knec.ac.ke. Schools that presented candidates for the assessment are advised to log into the portal and access the learner-specific reports. Congratulations to all the 2024 KPSEA candidates.” said KNEC

The assessment which involved grade 6 learners saw over 1.2 million learners register for the exams across the country. The exams were conducted from 28th and 30th October 2024.

According to KNEC, the exam is meant to give teachers the relevant information on the gaps that exist in the classes as students transition to upper classes.

“It also gives the classroom teachers relevant information about learning gaps noted at the end of the primary tier. Further, it informs stakeholders in education of possible interventions that can improve learning outcomes at the primary school level,” they said
