National courier Kenya Airways (KQ) has confirmed delays at JKIA caused by maintenance of fuel hydrants that extended beyond the planned duration.
Through a statement, KQ noted that the situation delayed morning flights but it has since been normalized and that the morning flights have departed.

“Due to maintenance of the fuel hydrants that extended beyond the planned duration at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we have experienced delays in our morning flight departures. The situation has normalised, and most of our morning flights have departed.” said KQ
Through its dedicated team, it is working to ensure recovery of departure and arrival schedules by midday today.
