England defender Kyle Walker has informed Manchester City his plan to leave the club as confirmed by manager Pep Guardiola.
According to Guardiola, Walker had approached him two days ago informing him of his plan to play abroad before ending his football career.
“Two days ago, Kyle asked to explore the options to play abroad and end his career” said Pep Guardiola

He continued by revealing that the club could not have reached the level of success they are at now without Kyle Walker but he had already made up his mind about his decision to leave.
It is the plan of Guardiola to play players who are mentally at Manchester City so as to keep the momentum going in the coming season if not days.
On Saturday, the 34-year-old defender was missing in their FA Cup tie against Salford, a move that was termed a technical decision even though he was not ruled out with an injury.
