Bruno Fernandes who was making his 200th appearance for Manchester United netted in the last minute to secure a 1-0 win against Fulham.
With Erik Ten Hag’s job openly on the edge, the visitors required nothing short of a win and eight minutes into the clash, Scott McTominay tapped the opener from Alejandro Garnacho’s pass.
The goal was thoroughly checked by VAR who ruled it offside due to Harry Maguire’s position in the build up to the goal.

Both Fulham and Manchester United lacked the finish to break the deadlock afterwards as Bernd Leno produced a weak effort from Bruno Fernandes to send both sides level at the break.
Leno was at it again in the second half blocking two chances from Garnancho who threatened from every angle. Harry Wilson had his chance tapped over the net by Andre Onana. Calvin Bassey also had his shot cleared off the line.
Just when hope was dwindling for any chance of a win, captain Bruno Fernandes kept tapping not once but twice before his shot finally went past Bernd Leno who stood helplessly despite his best effort to stop it.
The results send Manchester United to 7th position with 18 points, 8 points behind league leaders Tottenham. Fulham remained in 14th position with 12 points.
