A university lecturer in Bomet is being held by the police following allegations that he held a 17-year-old girl for three days and defiling her.
According to the police report, the lecturer is accused of luring the minor to his house where he defiled her before he was busted by neighbour who reported the matter to the police.

Confirming the incident was Bomet central sub-county police chief Musa Omar who said that the accused fled the scene but was tracked down by the police before arresting him.
“We have enough reason to take him to court, we are optimistic that he has a case to answer, the law will take it own course a person of his calibre should be a role model to youths”. he said
The incident has since cause anxiety around Bomet College University with the female staff calling for justice of the teenager and accused the lecturer of committing a beastly act.
Investigations into the incident is ongoing before the suspect is arraigned in court.
