Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez is set to undergo a second surgery to correct his broken metatarsal.
Immediately after the surgery, Martinez is expected to remain sidelined for several months to recover before making a return.

“Lisandro Martínez will undergo surgery again, second operation on his broken metatarsal.
It will take place next week, as called by Chris Wheeler DM — completed in the next 48h and then stop around two or three months.” said Fabrizio Romano
The Argentine and World Cup winner has been an important player for Erik Ten Hag following his arrival from Ajax.
His absence has dented the form of the club that is struggling to record wins to maintain a competitive edge in the Premier League.
