Malava Member of Parliament Moses Malulu has passed away while receiving treatment at the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi.
Confirming the news was National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula with the MP passing on while receiving treatment at the same facility.
At the time of his death, the Legislator who was serving his third term in Parliament was also the vice-chairperson of the National Assembly Committee on Education and Research.
“It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi, who left us this evening at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.
Hon. Injendi was more than a leader; he was a man of integrity, dedication, and unwavering service.
As the Member for Malava Constituency and Vice Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Education & Research, he spent over a decade in Parliament championing the causes that mattered most to his people.
His passion for education and the sugar industry reflected his deep commitment to the well-being of all Kenyans.
Beyond his leadership, Hon. Injendi was a devout Catholic, a man of faith whose values guided his service to others.
His wisdom, kindness, and steady leadership will be profoundly missed. We have lost not just a leader, but a remarkable man whose impact will be felt for generations.
As we grieve, let us also celebrate his life by carrying forward the principles he held dear. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and constituents during this difficult time. May God grant them strength and comfort. May his soul rest in eternal peace!” said Wetangula
