The government has on Wednesday restored the security of Kenya’s First Lady Mama Ngina Kenyatta hours after they had withdrawn it.
The Tuesday’s news saw the government withdraw the security of most leaders affiliated to Azimio La Umoja including ODM party leader Raila Odinga ahead on Wednesday’s protest.

Mama Ngina was forced to deploy private security guards at his Muthaiga’s house prompting questions from Kenyans given his stature in the country.
On Tuesday, a group of people identified as business people had filed a notice to stage a protest towards the home of Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
A showdown looms now looms between the government and opposition as Kenyans are prepared for the three day protest ending Friday 21st July, 2023.
