Manchester City beat Manchester United to extend superb form

Manchester City cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford thanks to two goals from Erling Haaland.

Even though the odds were tilted against Manchester United, Pep Guardiola’s side dominated the fixture causing confusion among the United Midfield players.

Erik Ten Hag side also looked sharp in their passes but it was their finish that was worrying as very few of their chances threatened Ederson.

Haaland who was making a run in the penalty area to receive the corner kick was pulled back by Hojlund resulting in a penalty which he comfortably took to give the visitors the lead.

Andre Onana once again proved his quality producing incredible save to deny the Norwegian from close range. A slip in defense left Haaland unmarked as he comfortable headed home a Bernardo Silva’s cross into the net.

The Premier League top goal scorer was at it again but this time he set up one for Phil Foden who was outstanding in the fixture.

The win takes Manchester City in third place and level on points with Arsenal who sit tow points from league leaders Tottenham Hotspurs.
