As at yesterday, the deal had been termed an expensive one given the Manchester United’s forward salary which was to be covered in the loan deal.
Unai Emery was crucial in getting the deal signed after giving a green light to Aston Villa board to pursue him. Rashford and Unai held talks on the project and Champions League experience.
