Mary Wanyonyi, the wife of former IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati has been sworn in as the Chairperson of the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA).
Presiding over the ceremony was Chief Justice Martha Koome who called on the commission to strive and meet the needs of Kenyans.
“CRA is a pillar of our public finance management, tasked with ensuring equitable sharing of revenues raised nationally among the levels of government. I urge her to uphold these responsibilities with integrity, dedication and the utmost commitment to public service.

- Services at Mlolongo, Syokimau and SGR toll stations resume
It is imperative to recall that the very heart of devolution, a tenet deeply engrained in our Constitution, is to bring the government and resources closer to the people.
The Commission on Revenue Allocation must always strive to meet the needs of Kenyans in every corner of our country. It must endeavour to understand the unique needs and aspirations of each county and ensure they get their rightful share,” said Koome.
