Former PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino has parted ways with Chelsea with immediate effect, a deal that has been agreed by both the coach and the club.
“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea, we’d like to express our gratitude to Mauricio for his service this season. He’ll be welcome back to Stamford Bridge any time and we wish him all the very best in his future coaching career” said Chelsea directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley
Speaking after the news, Pochettino thanked the club sporting director for the opportunity to head the club saying that the squad is well positioned to keep moving forward.
““Thank you to Chelsea ownership group and Sporting Directors for the opportunity to be part of this football club’s history”.
“The Club is now well positioned to keep moving forward in the Premier League and Europe in the years to come” he said
Even though the club performed exceptionally well in the just ended Premier League 2023/24 season, Chelsea is looking forward to having a young manger.
