Mbappe confirms PSG exit ahead of Real Madrid move

Kylian Mbappe has announced his exit from  Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) ahead of his expected move to Real Madrid.

Taking on X, Mbappe noted that his last home clash with PSG will be on Sunday where he will bid farewell to the fans.

“I never thought it would be this difficult to leave my country. It’s a club I will keep in my mind for my entire life. I will tell everybody I had the chance to play here,” he said.

The 25-year-old captain of France took the national team to the 2022 World Cup where he made history by becoming the youngest player to score at the tournaments final after legendary Pele.

France was however beaten by Argentina in the final which saw Lionel Messi cement his name in the football world.

Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco back in 2017 for a record 180 million euros. He has since netted 255 goals in his seven year stay at the club.

Some of the top players he has played with at PSG include Zlatan Ibrahimović, Edinson Cavani and Lionel Messi.

It is due to the respect he has for the club that the French forward has decided to announce his departure in person before his expected to Real Madrid.

It is understood that all documents are ready with Real Madrid and his salary has also been discussed prior to his move.
