Meru Governor Governor is again facing an impeachment bid which is set to be tabled before the Meru County Assembly on Wednesday.
To table the motion is Zipporah Kinya, a Nominated Member and Deputy Leader of the Majority Party who is accusing Mwangaza of gross violations of the Constitution, various national and county laws, and abuse of office.

Other allegations facing the governor include financial misconduct, illegal appointments and dismissals and misleading the public.
Mwangaza is also accused of illegally appointing chairpersons of various boards within the county without the proper vetting of the County Assembly whose responsibility is to vet them.
At one occasion she is accused of revoking the appointment of CPA Virginia Kawira Miriti as Secretary/CEO of the Meru County Public Service Board without following the due procedure.
This is the third motion leveled against the Governor who has in two occasions survived the impeachment with the second one coming from the Senate.
